Benjamin Thomas White

Benjamin Thomas White is Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow. A historian of the modern Middle East by background, he is now teaching and researching on the history of refugees and statelessness in the world at large—with an increasing interest in the roles animals play in situations of human displacement, and the relationship between displacement and environment.

He is currently working on a global history of the refugee camp.
